When will the conference be held?
The 16th International Conference on Transportation and Traffic will be held in December 2026 at Islamic Azad University, Mashhad Branch.
Who can participate in the conference?
The conference welcomes faculty members, researchers, students, engineers, managers, government officials, consultants, knowledge-based companies, industry professionals, and anyone interested in transportation, traffic engineering, urban development, and the construction industry.
What are the conference themes?
Scientific papers are accepted under four main themes: Mobility, Energy, Health, and Infrastructure.
How can I submit a paper?
You must first register through the conference system. After receiving your Registration Code, you can submit and upload your paper via the conference submission system.
Is there a limit to the number of papers I can submit?
No. There is currently no limit on the number of papers that each researcher may submit.
Does paper submission guarantee acceptance?
No. All submitted papers undergo the conference’s peer-review process. Final acceptance is subject to approval by the Scientific Committee.
Will papers be presented orally or as posters?
The presentation format (oral or poster) will be determined after the peer-review process and will be communicated to authors by the Scientific Committee.
Is the conference officially authorized?
Yes. The conference has received official authorization from the Central Organization of Islamic Azad University under Event Authorization Code: 1405-03-10-1008.
Is the conference indexed in ISC?
The process of obtaining indexing in the Islamic World Science Citation Center (ISC), along with other academic recognitions, is currently underway. The latest updates will be announced on the official conference website once finalized.
Can I participate in the conference side events?
Yes. In addition to the scientific program, the conference will feature training workshops, technical sessions, specialized exhibitions, and other side events. Details will be announced on the official conference website.

Is paper submission required to attend the conference?
No. Participants may attend the conference without submitting a paper, subject to the conference registration requirements. Further registration details will be announced on the official conference website.
Can I edit my paper after submission?
If the editing option is available in the conference submission system and the paper submission deadline has not yet passed, authors may revise their submission or upload a new version. Detailed instructions will be available through the conference submission system.
